Objective
Design a double gatefold album for The Soft Moon.

Solution
I first created a logo for the band by doubling and warping the type in order to visually mimic the music's style. I then integrated the type within an image of a photographed sound wave (photos by Loris Cecchini and Berenice Abbott) to complete the album's look and feel. Black and white photography from the Soft Moon's archive compliments the grainy sound waves and obscured, textural lyrics inside the LP. This type technique also references the atmospheric singing style of Luis Vasquez.
